Needing. Needing this time with God. Needing this time to listen to the stream of water flowing. Needing to hear the quiet whispers of the bushes as they gently release their knowledge to me. Needing the stones to ground me and reassure me it is safe to settle here.

Lately I’ve been allowing myself to just write. No expectations and it feels good. I also have been inspired to write based on pictures and art I come across. This is my first piece and this picture resonated with me deeply because right now I feel confined/restricted. To me, this young lady looks free. She looks like she is at peace and enjoying her moment in nature. I can appreciate that moment. I look forward to continuing to write my interpretations and expressions of my own experiences this way. I hope you enjoy this piece by me.
